The Merck Family’s Old World Christmas specializes in recreating heirloom quality ornaments for today’s Christmas memories. Their extensive collection includes favorites like clip-on birds with feathered tails, sparkling fruits, sports ornaments, shimmering Santas and snowmen. The ornaments are hand crafted using the same traditional techniques of the 1800s. Molten glass is mouth-blown into a finely carved mold and a thin layer of hot liquid silver solution is poured inside before being meticulously hand-painted and finely glittered.
